What is eDesign? The 5 Steps to eDesign

Have you ever wondered what all this eDesign stuff is about? This walks you through the basic steps and what to expect from our eDesign service.

6.     Accomplished: You can finally experience your home the way you’ve always dreamed of! 

 

How to Get Started with eDesign?

 

Step 1: Complete the Design Questionnaire.

 

Why? The more information you provide up front, the better the end result.

The questions include:

  • What room we are focusing on?

  • Why are you redesigning your space? 

  • What is your timeline and “the evil” budget?

  • What is your style?

  • How do you want the space to feel and function?

  • What is your inspiration?

  • What is not changing in the room?

  • Dimensions. We get it, you love that chair. Great! But in order to source the best side table ever, we need to know dimensions. The last thing we want is to find the table of your dreams that is 4 inches too tall for the arm of that chair.

  • What are your color preferences?

Step 2: Discovery call or email – depending on your preference.

This is a conversation about what you need and how we can help. We discuss the selections you made in the questionnaire. This is where we make sure that we are both on the same page.


Step 3: Select the design package that is right for you.

Every project is different, and we want to make sure you get what you want! Here is a list of our awesome packages:

  • Room Refresher – If you feel that a room in your house has gone stale or you never got around to finishing it, this is the package for you. 

  • More than a Refresh – If you are looking for a complete overhaul of all the furniture, accessories, and finishes in the room, than this is the package for you. 

  • I want it all – This package is for our individuals in our local areas (Black Hills, South Dakota or Upstate, South Carolina) that desire an in-person meeting and on location sourcing from our team of professionals

Step 4: Sign and pay

We will email you the contract to review and sign.

Pay the required amount. (this varies based on the project)


Step 5: Time for us to get to work!

  • You can expect a concept board that addresses your needs & visions. They may include, but are not limited to:

    • Custom color palette

    • Paint color recommendations

    • Master shopping list with links for requested items

    • Designer direction and notes

    • Styling tips and guides

  • For More Than a Refresh and I Want it All you have access to revisions based on your feedback
